Highways Team Leader (Feasibility & Design) - Philippines

We are seeking an experienced Highways Team Leader to provide project management support for an upcoming ADB funded project.

Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major project from the earliest stage and be based in the Philippines for the 18month duration of the project. Possible future contracts could follow for the construction supervision phase.

Responsibilities on the project:

• Overall guidance, direction, supervision and coordination of all members of the Project Team and overall management of the consultancy services to be rendered by the Consultant
• Lead, coordinate and supervise the conduct of Investigation of existing conditions in the identified projects and collection/evaluation of data/information necessary for the feasibility studies and detailed design services required in the TOR
• Lead, coordinate and supervise the required services for tendering activities
• Assistance to the Employer and liaison with ADB
• Assure the dissemination of right and updated information about the project and other matters that the public and other concerned should know
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that will be required by the Employer and ADB

Key requirements for the role:

• BS in Civil Engineering; Master's or Doctoral Degree in related field, an added
• Advantage
• Licensed/Registered Civil Engineer with experience as Team Leader/Highway Engineer or equivalent or higher capacity in the feasibility study and detailed engineering design of preferably at least 7 road and bridge projects.
• Preferably with 10 years' experience in consultancy services of any infrastructure projects in the Philippines or in similar geographical areas. Work experience in fragile and conflict affected areas is an advantage.
• Attendance to training relevant to the assignment or position

The salary on offer is around $10,000 with a package
