Project / QMS Quality Engineer / Manager / Norway

Project Quality Engineer / Manager
• Participate in and monitor projects to avoid risks (design, process, non-quality costs, timing etc.)
• Ensure quality targets are met (PPAP documentation completed according to agreed deadline)
• Customer interface for quality matters on assigned project(s) and audits
• Ensure internal routines and customer requirements are respected
• Liaise with SQA network regarding completion of supplier PPAP activities
• Coordinate and guide the team regarding problem solving (e.g. 8D)
• Support the local design team, the production team and the project team regarding QA activities

QMS Engineer / Manager
• Maintenance of the QMS
• Participation in audits and coordination of continuous improvement activities

Qualifications / Personal Attributes:
• Engineering degree
• 2-5 years’ professional experience in Quality Assurance (Projects, Supplier Quality, 0km/Warranty (8D), QMS and IATF 16949 activities)
• Knowledge of Project Quality Management
• Experience with Project Quality Tools (FMEA, Statistical, SPC etc.)
• Ability to problem solve (8D / PDCA-FTA)
• Experience with Customer Quality Systems
• Ability to perform quality auditing
• Knowledge of international standards (IATF 16949/ISO 14000) Personal Attributes
• Systematic and analytic approach to problem solving
• Solution and goal orientated
• Strong people and negotiation skills
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with various international cultures
• Ability to learn and coach others on the use of QA tools Language Skills
• Fluency in English
• Scandinavian language is an advantage
