Commercial Director - Australia

My client is a leading international main contractor working throughout the world on major civil and infrastructure projects.

Having recently been awarded a large civil infrastructure project in Australia valued at nearly $1 billion AUD. The project involves extensive tunnelling, structures, building and all related works.

They are now looking to mobilise the management team with the appointment of the commercial director for the project. This is the number 1 commercial role on the project responsible for everything from initial project set up through to final hand over and potential claims.

This is a fantastic opportunity to move to the West Coast of Australia for the next 4 years and work on a mega project for a leading organisation.

To be of requisite calibre for this role my client is looking for someone with the following attributes;

• Relevant qualification in quantity surveying
• Ideally RICS qualified
• Proven track record working for a leading main contractor
• Stable CV where you have worked on project from inception through to completion
• High level commercial experience including claims and arbitration's
