Staff Accountant - Engineering & Construction Company / USA

OVERVIEW

Our Client is an Engineering & Construction company in the Oil & Gas sector and they have a fantastic opportunity for a Staff Accountant in their corporate office located on the Katy Fwy, Houston. 

REQUIREMENTS / MUST HAVES

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financials
• Record daily cash transactions
• Maintain prepaid schedules
• Maintain assets
• Assist in Field billing when needed
• Prepare and record entries to the general ledger for month end close
• Help prepare documents for all audits
• Maintain credit card transactions

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
• 2 years’ experience in accounting in either Oil & Gas or Manufacturing industries
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
