We are seeking a Process Control Consultant, based in London, to work on projects with Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Refining clients on global sites, to understand their process objectives and design Decision Support solutions and closed-loop Real-Time Optimiser (RTO) systems, plus HMIs and Dahsboards, and install these at client's sites, interfacing with their Control Systems and Data Historians, plus Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.
For this you will be a degree qualified Chemical Engineer with c5+ years' experience, skilled in benefit studies, testing and implementation of steady-state, dynamic and optimising equation-based Modelling and Simulation Process Control tools (e.g. HYSIS, HYSYS, Chemcad, Dynsim, gPROMS, Pro II, Simulink, Unisim, SPEEDUP, ACM, Dymola), Advanced Process Control (APC) (e.g. Aspentech DMC, Connoisseur, Plantscape, RMPCT, SMOC) or Real-Time-Optimisation (RTO) (e.g. ROMEO). Python, Fortran or C++ skills are advantageous.
You will also have Pre-Sales responsibilities, discussing opportunities and solutions with existing and new customers, and attend and present at events, trade shows, conferences, webinars, training seminars etc.

You should expect to be on-site, probably overseas, about one week in four.
