Pile / Sheet Pile Designer / Sweden

We are seeking a Pile / Sheet Pile Designer to join a leading engineering business in Gothenburg.

Job Role / Responsibilities

Acting as the Pile / Sheet Pile Designer you will be my clients Geotechnical Representative. You will represent the contractor on site and in meetings. You will be required to prepare technical site execution verification documents (ETS) and handle site temporary geotechnical designs. You must have theoretical and practical competence according to included contract work relating to underground facilities and tunnel construction.

Requirements

For this role the client that we are working with have a minimum requirement of:

• 10 years of professional experience.
• Experience from at least two construction projects containing excavation works in soil within retaining structures (at least 5m deep shafts) with a contact cost of minimum SEK 100 million.
• Experience on a project that involves high plastic clay (>25m) with low un-drained shear strength (cu <40pa within at least 10m of the soil profile).
