Warehouse Supervisor / England

To supervise and drive a team of Warehouse Operatives so that the function associated with Material Inventory control eg, planning, receipt, storage, issue of material, shipping, preservation, tooling, rentals and all other warehouse activities result in the timely availability of materials. Ensure that the resources available are executing all the required activities in a safe and cost effective manner.

• Be seen as a role  model on HSSE matters within the Warehouse, ensuring HSSE mindest is embedded throughout the team
• Ensure there is a high focus on 5S / Lean principles and Continuous Improvement throughout the department
• Demonstrate experience and knowledge of Warehouse/Inventory management and activities
• Provide  coaching and mentoring to the team, sharing knowledge/experience and providing guidance for decision making
• Be able to problem solve seeking solutions through the expertise of both self and others, researching the facts with care and resolving  in a timely and thorough manner
• Strong communications skills both written and verbally, communicating with bother internal/external customers to manage business priorities and update on progress
• Understanding of quality control requirements shipping requirements such as  Dangerous goods and Air Cargo
• proactive, flexible and decisive with the ability to be innovative and challenging in the line with company values
• working knowledge of SAP, MRP systems and Kardex systems preferred but not essential
