One of the largest international oil and energy consultants are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Asset Engineer to join their team in Melbourne on a permanent basis. This represents a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded company with much opportunity for internal progression.
Operating both from their office and on site at a refinery in the western suburbs, the purpose of this role is to engage with and support their client’s machinery engineering team, providing technical advice in rotating equipment to the operations and maintenance team.
Key responsibilities for the role include; solving and responding to operations focused enquiries, liaising with all operational staff, providing technical solutions to improve both operations and maintenance at the refinery and writing and presenting reports to relevant stakeholders.
To be successful, you must possess a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with eligibility for membership with IEAust coupled with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Previous site experience working in maintenance and reliability as well as experience in refining is a must.
