Workshop Manager - Fabrication / Australia

Our client manufactures large steel structures for a wide variety of industries throughout Australia such as mining infrastructure, construction, reclaimers etc.  As market leader they have been manufacturing in WA for many years and with recent project award’s we are recruiting a Workshop Manager
 
As a WA owned business you will have opportunity to work with highly experienced and passionate individuals. In your new role you will be managing a large workshop with a dedicated team of fabrication specialists to deliver products on time and within budget.  You will have complete autonomy of your project and report directly into your Senior Manager. You’ll be managing the end to end production include OHS, QA/QC, programming, cost control, production.

My client is willing to train and promote into this role from either engineering or superintendent back ground. Ideally you will have previous construction based experience with attention to detail on contracts, OHS, client liaison etc.  An engineering degree is desirable.
