Manager : Local Economic Development - Gold Mining Project / Papua New Guinea

An exciting opportunity to play a senior role on a new Gold Mining project in Papua New Guinea, This is a Residentially Based role on a Monday-Friday roster & presents a key position to implement numerous business projects in land owner communities, in both rural and urban settings. working directly for a major natural resource operator, your role is to create ongoing sources of sustainable long term income streams for communities. 

This role will require a candidate with strong business acumen & entrepreneurial skills, as well as passion for community Affairs and development. It will require a strong resolve,excellent communication, negotiation, accounting skills & above all else people skills. 

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 10 years in community affairs and development with an NGO or Natural resource operator, strong knowledge of PNG taxation, banking & statutory requirements and a minimum of a commerce degree in accounting/finance/economics
