Description
Key responsibilities
• Subsea Alliance Planning function, process and tools (planning procedure) and part of the Subsea Alliance Commercial Management Team
• Subsea Alliance portfolio plans
• Management of the planning resources, including SPS and SURF Planners
• Planning of front-end projects (Pre-DG2)
• Manpower planning (MPP)
• Support the development of commercial procedures and improvement initiatives
Main tasks;
• Maintain Subsea Alliance Portfolio Schedule, covering ongoing and upcoming studies and execute projects.
• Establish and maintain planning procedure/supporting documents in the Alliance Execution Manual.
• Establish and maintain Subsea Alliance Manpower planning system (MPP)
• Develop and maintain Subsea Alliance WBS – Standardized product structure
• Establish and structure CTR codes aligned with agreed standard WBS.
• As required, establish detailed integrated SPS and SURF schedules for studies and execute projects.
• Ensure that SURF and SPS plans are developed in accordance with the Subsea Alliance requirements
• Support other commercial resources involved in the studies and execute projects including PSM, SCM, Estimators and Cost Controllers
• Assist Project Services Manager/PSM and Project Engineering Manager/PEM with establishing CTR tracker for budgeting and reporting purpose
• Provide regular reports on actual progress vs planned, for Subsea Alliance and external stakeholders.
• Interface with SCM function to have updated procurement activities in schedules.
• Interface with the respective parties, mainly Functional/Planning Manager (Owner of WBS)
• Support the development of Alliance budgets (MLCs), including Cost Schedule Risk Analysis (facilitation if required), with input from each of the parties.
• Complete As-Built schedules, incl. offshore campaigns and perform operations planned vs actual analysis.
Requirements
Education
• MSc, MBA or similar engineering / economics degree.
• Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
Experience
• Hands-on experience using planning systems/ procedures
• Experience from front-end development work, project execution and close out
• Experienced with cost and schedule benchmarking
• Experience in the development and application of cost and schedule risk analysis procedures and operations
• Subsea experience desired
• Experience from both operator- and contractor project positions considered an advantage
