Quantity Surveyor / USA

Salary / Rate: US$85000 to US$100000 per annum + bonus, health insurance, dental cover, RICS fees etc.

THE ROLE

I am now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a firm of PQS based in the centre of NEW YORK, USA to to work on a range of projects.

Initially you will be involved with fit out projects for very large offices and also retail fit out for a large retailer.

After that you will be involved in some new build commercial projects.

THE CLIENT

My client is a large British firm of private practice quantity surveying consultants with offices in the UK and in the USA.

They generally work on high value projects including retail, offices, hotels, residential etc.

THE CANDIDATE

Their office in NEW YORK, USA is well established and they are now seeking a QUANTITY SURVEYOR / COST MANAGER who must have a BSc in Quantity Surveying to join them along with a few years experience spent with a British firm of P.Q.S.

You are likely to be either working towards taking the APC or already chartered or have a BSc in Quantity Surveying with a few years post graduation experience.

Because of the VISA situation my client can only take British candidates.

You must have worked for another firm of consultant quantity surveyors at least at Project Surveyor level and have gained experience of both pre and post contract duties in particular have good experience of pre contract cost planning, cost estimating etc.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious chartered quantity surveyor with excellent client facing skills to join a firm who are further growing their New York office.

Salary in the region of US$85000 to US$100000 negotiable per annum plus bonus, health insurance, dental insurance, 401K etc.
