Due to increased production volume and complexity, our client is looking for a Technical Production Manager to join their team in Trondheim.

Our client develops, produces and delivers sonar systems to a vast client base world wide and have experienced a significant growth the last years. This growth has created the need for a technical production manager to improve and drive production process from a technical perspective. You will be working tightly with both the development and the production department to pave the way for future products, from idea to scaled production. Our client is looking for a structured team player who is motivated by finding new ways of making world class products.

We can offer a wide range of tasks and opportunities, working together with highly skilled colleagues from various disciplines working tightly together.

Wanted qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience from mechanical design or production.
  • Preferably experience from the subsea domain.
  • Experience integrating mechanics and electronics.
  • Experience with Solidworks.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Familiar with stage-gate model
  • Excellent English both written and oral, Norwegian is a plus.

Tasks:

  • Improve our production process, both internally and towards external partners.
  • Production technical support.
  • Product documentation.
  • Drive industrialization of new products.
  • Map out new production methods.
  • Work proactively with the development department on documentation.
  • Responsible for 0-series run.
