Construction Director / England

This is a challenging and demanding opportunity with a well known construction group.
 
They are looking for a Construction Director with a substantial background in the field of surveying and/or contract management with a proven track record with an established construction company.
 
The requirement is for a Construction Director who is professional and has the drive, interpersonal skills and enthusiasm necessary to successfully maximise the potential of the business. 
 
A background in negotiated, design and built as well as conventional competitive tender contracting is a key pre-requisite, and previous involvement in a broad spectrum of commercial and industrial new build, and refurbishment projects in the £3m-£10 range is also an essential requirement.
 
The primary objectives of this role will consist of:
 
Maintaining established profit margins and improve wherever possible, and ensure that all team members act in accordance with Company policy at all times in respect of all financial dealing on behalf of the Company.
 
Oversee the construction team(s) within your control to ensure that they function efficiently and correctly.
 
Protect the interests of the Company and foster good working relationships with Clients, Client advisors and sub-contracting organisations.
 
Ensure that all contracts achieve the company goals of within budget, on time, safely and to the client’s requirements.
