Pipeline Engineer / Iraq

We are looking for a pipeline engineer for Iraq on a rotation schedule of 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

The Pipeline Engineer during construction of flowline project in the asset and has the responsibility, accountability and authority for reviewing document, inspection, planning and field execution supervision of all scope in the area and ensures construction activities are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved premises, work processes, and standards.

Minimum Experience:

• 6-8 year experience in reviewing engineering document, construction of piping /pipeline with experience as a field coordinator with accountability for delivering various scope of construction work

Job-Specific Skills:

• Test package reviewing, Hydrostatic test witnessing
• Has experience with Management of Change process, contract, P&ID, piping layout, mechanical drawing, Isometrics, providing MTOs , coating and insulation
• Experienced in the use of appropriate codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation.
• Competent in use of analytical methods used within discipline including theoretical background for analysis programs.
• Able to estimate man-hours and materials for delegated aspects of work.
• Responsible for inspection of piping /pipeline systems for on and off shore production systems
• Independently perform examinations in accordance with company procedures, specifications and API standards
• Used P&IDs, blue prints, plot graphs and piping isometrics to walk down piping systems and red lined isometrics and other drawings.
• Responsible of plan, execution of piping fabrication and erection works
• Allocation of material, record and report shortages for execution of piping fabrication and erection
• Monitor all piping /pipeline installation and modification activities
