Civil Estimator / Australia

A prominent Melbourne based Contractor is currently seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join their team based out of their office in the eastern suburbs working on an array of exciting projects. This is a solid opportunity to join a company that has significantly grown and diversified its project portfolio in recent times.
Reporting to the Senior Estimator, key responsibilities for the role include assisting in the development of various processes in relation to civil engineering projects, maintaining and developing relationships with relevant individuals, producing estimates on civil projects between $10-20 mil and ensuring that value engineering principals are used to optimise bids.
To be successful, you must possess a relevant tertiary qualification coupled with a minimum of 5 years’ experience tendering on civil projects of $5-$10 million. Additionally, you must have strong technical skills and knowledge within the civil industry, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage a team.
