The Drilling Material Co-Ordinator provides support to the offshore Well Engineering team to ensure all drilling,
completions equipment and personnel are available in time to avoid delays to the programme and to ensure equipment is returned in a timely manner. A 28 day rotational role.
Job tasks
Inventory and stock control
Ensures all drilling and completion materials are available in time.
Manage all material receipts and dispatches.
Ensure all material records are kept.
Ensures all personnel are available in time.
Liaise with all third party vendors and Well Engineering team.
Work closely and liaise with another well engineering team, offshore well engineering team, all third party vendors and another logistics team and drilling contractor.
Determine, anticipate and consolidate short and medium term requirements for materials as required by the drilling programme.
Checks that all equipment received is inspected, certified and offloaded safely on arrival to the rig and returned to shore in the same manner as and when required.
Support and assist shore based DMC's in planning and operational activities.
Maintain material and assets control register.
Ensure full material reconciliations are carried out.
Maintain detailed registers of all rental and consignment stock.
Manage all drilling and completions materials receipts and dispatches.
Experience required
Fluent in english written & spoken.
Highly proficient with IT and Industry software including MS Suite.
Basic Well Engineering understanding.
Proven experience in a similar role supporting a Well Engineering operation offshore.
Exposure to management of marine operations.
Experience in Drilling Materials handling, storing, identifying, tracking and maintaining.
Strong background and awareness of warehouse and inventory management with specific focus to drilling and completions materials in the Oil and Gas industry.
IMDG and IATA dangerous goods handling expertise.
