Assist and working closely with the Facilities Lead Planner and Site Construction Team. Lead and support the Contractors Planning Team to ensure highest quality of planning and reporting activities are achieved. Produce and monitor detailed planning/scheduling activities for compliance to contract requirements and internal reporting analysis requirements. Demonstrated skills in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to planning and scheduling problems; Preparation of Project Controls reports and exception listing including but not limited to scheduling updates and analysis, progress reporting, forecasting and various internal and external reporting for facilities management. Participate in periodic meetings to discuss issues and concerns and review the progress achievement. Provides supervision and assistance to contractor planners in the development and integration of schedules. Work with all departments to ensure an understanding of the project schedule needs. Performs productivity analysis of contractors construction operations and verifies results. Reviews labor estimates for reasonableness. Prepares and analyzes comparisons of scope, quantities, and cost data between projects. Performs/supervises others in obtaining required schedule information by all disciplines. Performs/supervises others in identifying schedule restraints and their effects on the total project schedule. Responsible for total integration of schedule activities. Monitors and reports critical-path and schedule performance of the total project. Supervises project schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activities. Leads the development and review of schedule recovery plans, including evaluation of additional resources/costs required to affect such plans. Prepares and presents planning and scheduling information to management. Creates and implements measurement systems for established processes, analyzes performance metric results, and identifies improvements. Coordinates and supervises the compilation of periodic planning/scheduling report for presentation to the management team. Liaison and co-ordination with other internal departments, design engineers, contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that the project remains aligned with established KPIs, goals and objectives.
Bachelor Degree. A minimum of 10 years oil and gas experience in planning the development of major/EPC contracts. Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, control and analysis. Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience. BSc degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and present schedule products independently with minimal supervision. Highly proficient in the usage of Primavera, Microsoft Project and all other MS Office applications. Demonstrated ability to mentor junior Planners, work closely on junior Planners development through sharing knowledge/expertise. Collaborative, creative, results-oriented, proactive and accountable.
