Operating nationally, we are a prominent commercial fit out company that has been in the market for over 20 years. Our Primary focus is on large scale commercial fit outs and refurbishments from $1m - $10m throughout the city. We are going through an expansions period with over $70m of projects in the pipeline in the coming year.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Construction Manager you will take ownership and accountability of the commercial and construction activities from head contract, subcontracts, procurement, budgets, cost control, delivery and project cash flows of commercial fit outs ranging from $3 - $5m.
" Procurement of trades & materials
" Manage tender interviews, subcontractor negotiations and letting of contracts
" Manage a small team consisting of a Project Coordinator and two Site Managers
" Liaising with clients, subcontractors & colleagues
" Ensuring project are completed on time & within budgets
" Ensuring projects are completed to quality standards
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
" Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar
" Experience in the delivery of commercial fit out projects $1 - $10m
" In-depth understanding of design and construction process
" Strong leadership skills
" Good understanding of Contract administration
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills
