ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Efficiently support the shipping department, including receiving and quarterly inventory counts for finished goods
Ship product as it is due to support Rubbercraft's goal of 100% on-time delivery
Understand, write (English) and follow the router instructions and sign off on packaging instructions
Prepare all exporting documentation such as NAFTA, ITAR license, and commercial invoices as needed or requested by customer.
Maintain proper part identification and traceability, especially for finished goods,
Suggest process and packaging improvements when and if insufficiencies to the Continuous Improvement Manager
Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook or directed by the Planning Manager
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Process shipments as required through customer portals such as TMS, Exostar, and other customer designated portals.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Two plus years working as a shipping and receiving department
Able to communicate and write in English, bilingual is a plus.
OTHER SUBJECTIVE CRITERIA:
Attention to detail
Working knowledge of UPS/FedEx shipping computer equipment
Understanding of commercial packaging
Knowledge of local and international shipping companies, practices and services
Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
On the job training will be conducted on Procedures and Work Instructions from the area of responsibility.
Yearly refresher training on FOD, Calibration, Documentation control and Safety Topics.
