Long term client side opportunity administering contracts for commercial construction projects ranging up to $15m with a Global organisation. Reporting to the management team, you will undertake all the contract related activities for up to 25 key contracts to support the delivery of these projects.
" Manage contracts from Procurement stage to Contracts Administration stage.
" Negotiate contract variations and claims
" Interpret contractual obligations and provide expert opinion on contractual issues as they arise
" Attend project progress meetings
" Assist the legal department on contract related disputes and resolve related issues
" Comply with company work safe practices and regulations
" Create and maintain project contract records
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
" Degree qualified in construction management or equivalent
" High level of commercial awareness with strong negotiation skills
" 3 years experience as Contracts Administrator
" In-depth understanding of design and construction process
" Knowledge of Victorian construction market and subcontractors
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills
