Contract: Process Engineer / Madrid

Location: Madrid, Spain
Duration: 12 months renewable contract

We are currently recruiting for a Process Engineer for a leading chemical client of ours based in Madrid. 

The role will be working for the client overseeing Design work by an assigned EPC contractor in Madrid Spain. The roles will offer a long term contract duration and the opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join a multi $billion project at the very first stages.

About Project 
The client has committed to making major multi $billion investment in new production facilities in the Middle East region. It will be the first plant of its kind in the region when it starts up 2025.

Role Overview 

• Oversee EPC contractor FEED and Detailed Design activities 
• Support the Engineering Manager to develop a clear and concise set of engineering standards.
• Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes
• Oversees project logistics and resource allocation.

Qualifications and Experience needed

• Minimum 15 years exp delivering multi $billion mega projects from initial conception through all phases of life cycle, covering FEED, Detailed Design, Construction, Commissioning and Handover. 
• Degree qualified in appropriate engineering discipline. 
• Previous exp overseeing major design works being carried out by EPC contractors
