Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 years E&P upstream operator experience as a hands-on Production and Study Geologist
  • covering Geology fundamentals and Integrated Reservoir Modelling
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Geology, preferably Masters
  • Experience working a range of reservoir types (clastic and carbonates) at different stages of development
  • from exploration, appraisal to early development through to brown-field management and IOR/EOR
  • Experience in planning and execution of appraisal plans, field development plans, feasibility studies,
  • integrated field studies and reservoir modelling exercises (deterministic and stochastic methods)
  • An expert in industry tools - PETREL, Geological model practices, Reservoir Characterisation, up-scaling
  • Must have expert knowledge in sub-surface risk and uncertainty and demonstrated the application in
  • developing de-risking strategies
  • Must have robust knowledge in sequence stratigraphy and depositional environments
  • Must have experience with static model build from stratigraphic framework to static uncertainty
  • Experience with core data analysis and petrophysical properties correlations
  • Knowledge of seismic interpretation and seismic attribute processing skills is desirable
  • Experience in appraisal well planning and execution
  • Exposure to Well & Reservoir Management is desirable
  • Development planning capabilities across the front-end project management framework
  • Demonstrate decision making skills and building roadmaps to deliver a range of desired outcomes
  • Has breadth of knowledge across subsurface and wells disciplines
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships internally and with partners, government
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage conflicting goals. A strong planner.
  • Must be a Team Player and strong in collaboration
  • Must have strong communication, presentation abilities and English skills (written and verbal)
