This role reports to the CFO
- Will be part of the MANCOM
- Oversees Accounting, Finance and Corp Plan teams.
- Must already have substantial experience in VP level capacity with direct reporting relationship to the C-level

- Financial Strategy, Planning and Budgeting
- Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Cash Management
- Investments
- Insurance
- Financial Risk Management
- Statutory and regulatory compliance
- Review of revenue and cost effectiveness opportunities and economic trends
- Capital Structure and Fundraising
- Experience and knowledge in mergers and acquisitions (participated in due diligence exercise) and in hedging is an advantage as well
- Has implemented/used the Netsuite ERP system

Job Description
Vice President for Finance and Accounting
The Vice President for Finance directs the internal accounting and financial reporting function of the company in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to provide regular, accurate, useful and timely financial reports to management and other users of information in the organization. VP for Finance assists the Chief Finance Officer in planning and executing strategies and monitoring the activities and performance of the Finance team and the different departments in the organization.
Duties and responsibilities:
Accounting
- Oversees the conduct of statutory reporting and audits to ensure that financial statements are free of material misstatement and are fairly presented in accordance with Philippine Accounting and reporting standards.
- Ensures healthy interfaces and relationships with other finance and non finance functions, the Chief Finance Officer Members of the Senior Leadership Team, EXCOM and board of directors in planning, leading and organizing activities that are aligned with the strategic goals of the company.
- Drives changes and initiatives in systems, process and technologies to achieve cost operational efficiency
- Champions the drive to find, develop and keep talented people providing the right technical skills and structure that add value to the accounting function and business as a whole.
- Ensures compliance with tax-related reporting regulatory requirements
- Reviews and ensures the adequacy of internal control, its design and environment, relevant to the preparation of financial statements, including accounting systems, policies and procedures.
- Manages transactional processing of company payables and expenditures.
Finance
1. Performance Analytics
1.Capital Structure and Debt financing
1.1 Raises capital to support the company’s operations, capital expenditures and other investments
1.2 Identifies the appropriate debt structure for its working capital
1.3 Negotiates the terms of all debt structures
2. Financial Management
2.1 Manages the company’s cash flow
2.2 Manages treasury administration and ensures proper utilization of the company’s financial resources
2.3 Handles day to day financial requirements of the company
2.4 Ensures efficient cash management
3. Capital Budgeting
3.1 Participates actively in the evaluation of proposed projects or introduction of innovation based on risk and expected returns
3.2 Balances managing risk and maximizing return in the assessment of projects and innovations
4. Risk Management
4.1 Handles the management of risk exposure to maintain optimum level of risk and return that maximizes shareholder value
4.2 Manages the company’s foreign currency risk to its import transactions and other foreign denominated transactions.
4.3 Evaluates risk associated with the extension of credit to customers.
5. Strategic Performance Management
5.1 Monitors performance of accomplishments versus set targets and metrics relevant to key result areas of each business
5.2 Works with each department and guides them into setting up performance plans with relevant metrics to their business programs
5.3 Provides inputs and baseline or benchmark figures for annual strategic planning
6. Financial Reporting
6.1 Analyzes and reviews financial data and reporting financial performance
6.2 Coordinates with external auditors in the review and issuance of the annual audited financial statements
6.3 Provides financial statements and other financial reports as required by the creditors and regulatory bodies
6.4 Monitors and elevates relevant laws and regulations that may impact the company
7. Tax Management
7.1 Develops sustainable strategy in terms of maintaining our income tax holiday status through our registration with the Board of Investments
7.2 Exhausts available options that would allow for tax management and generate savings for the company

Job Requirements
Educational Background: Graduate of BS Accountancy or any Business Related course from a reputable university
Experiences: With at least 15 years or more relevant experience in large corporations
Has worked in a VP level capacity
License/s: CPA license preferred only
