Junior Contracts Administrator / Australia

The client is a specialist fit out and refurbishment contractor that delivers an array of various projects including retail, commercial and hospitality. Having started over 25 years ago, they deliver projects across New South Wales and Victoria and employ over 100 staff members.

Due to being awarded new projects, there is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Contracts Administrator to join the team. There would be mentoring, training and an overall encouraging environment to flourish in. 

Please note this is a Monday-to-Friday role and is based in the HQ.

As the Junior Contracts Administrator you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
• Progress claim assistance and external variations
• Review, negotiation and finalisation of subcontracts
• Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
• Administration of RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
• Administration of the project HSE system

To be considered for the position of Junior Contracts Administrator you will require:

• Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience for a Head Contractor
• A background working on fit out, refurb or construction projects
• Jobpac experience ideal however not essential 
• Experience of working on projects valued up to $15M
• Strong attention for detail and proven communication skills
• Time management skills and the availability to work full time
