Job Title:- Production Engineer

Location:- ARE-Abu Dhabi

Essential Responsibilities:-
 
  • 1.- Support Asset Teams with Model Contructions & Updates
    •             Update existing PROSPER well models and calibrate new well models with latest production tests
    •             Update GAP surface network models to reflect current well performance and current well status
    •             Integrate Water/Gas Injection and Oil Production networks to track voidage replacement
    2.- Support Asset Teams with Optimization Scenarios
    •             Provide desktop support on a regular basis, to guide assets on identifying value-generating production optimization opportunities. The support can range from help on providing a given calculation to troubleshooting a larger GAP model or linking GAP to MBAL, IX, tNav or Eclipse
    •             Keep track of optimization opportunities to support documentation of the value added
    3.- Provide Advanced Hands-On Sessions to Asset Team Members. Technical topics include (but are not limited to):
    •             General usage of PROSPER, GAP, MBAL, and possibly RESOLVE to solve specific tasks
    •             Gas Lift/ESP design and validation of production tests for Gas Lift/ESP wells
    •             Long horizontal well inflow models
    •             Modeling of advanced completions
    •             Integration with reservoir simulation tools
    •             Integration with process simulators

Qualifications/Requirements:
 
  • Petroleum Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Chemical Engineer
  •  
Desired Characteristics:-
 
  • 10 years of experience in oil and gas production
  • Proven experience with PETROLEUM EXPERT suite.
  • Experience with Integrated Asset Modeling (IAM)
  • Experience with Reservoir Simulation (Eclipse)
  • Mentoring skills
