Contract: Maintenance Team Leader / Basrah

As an experienced Maintenance Team Leader, you will be accountable for delivering safe, reliable and compliant maintenance of facilities. This already complex field will increase in complexity, requiring you to manage challenging issues in the facilities. You will also ensure that the interfaces between operations, maintenance, engineering, optimization, wells, subsurface and projects are defined and effectively managed to successful delivery in day-to-day operations and longer-term optimization and development activities.


In your first few weeks in this Maintenance Team Leader role, you can expect to:

• Be responsible for the health of the maintenance program, including preventive and corrective maintenance
• Recommend activity set beyond the 12-week window
• Be accountable for efficient planning and implementation of maintenance work schedules
• Oversee the delivery of the maintenance work schedule through the maintenance advisors
• Resolve and escalate systemic issues that prevent completing scheduled work
• Improve the performance of work implementation by monitoring technicians in the field and making productivity improvement recommendations

• Excellent communication and influencing skills and a track record of delivery, action-orientated and value-based decisions
• Proven and demonstrable risk management skills
• Track record of visible safety oversight
• Deep discipline knowledge encompassing the full breadth of departmental activities
• Extensive experience and technical understanding of maintenance and operation of oil and gas processing facilities
• Proven track record of implementing maintenance in a maintenance supervision position
