Contract: Project Officer / Perth

This role will be located at the client's SOR manufacturing facility and will have a great mix of technical, projects and people focus. 

Some duties and responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing a range of small/medium electrical and mechanical projects (value $10k - $250k)
• Ensure capital project implementation and special maintenance tasks are planned and executed in line with customers and stakeholders’ requirements
• Assist with the management of site implementation contracts, ensuring scopes of work are accurate and that contractor site work performance is managed as per contract terms
• Develop scopes of work planning and issuing of permits
• Ensure project site activities are planned and carried out in line with relevant environmental procedures
• Manage consultants and contractors while carrying out work related to operations/maintenance or capital projects
• Award contracts for supply of good and services in line with company policies

What you'll need to succeed:

• Electrical Trade Certificate 
• Demonstrable experience in electrical installation or maintenance within mining, chemical, or mineral processing industries
• Proven experience managing multiple small scale projects and dealing with competing priorities
• In-depth understanding of project management fundamentals
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business as well as with external parties
