Contract: Senior Business Analyst / Calgary

The valued client, a large Oil & Gas midstream company are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their Calgary team on a long-term contract basis.

About the role;

The Senior Business Analyst will support process development and help manage various work fronts related to SAP data and other databases.


What you’ll do;

• Process development around data completeness
• Manage data completeness projects
• Perform reviews, analysis and reporting of current processes using operational metrics and reports
• Support the review and cleanup of data to ensure accuracy and high quality

Minimum Qualifications;

• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience
 • Must be results oriented and possess strong skills in the areas of team facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, process mapping, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and project management
• Strong analytical skills are mandatory
• Strong facilitation skills are mandatory; must be able to lead meetings efficiently, encourage healthy discussions to gather required information to make decisions, and achieve the meeting objectives
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Competent at identifying needs based on business objectives, formulating a plan of action and effective execution of the plan
• Demonstrated ability to be self-sufficient, self-motivated, and proactive
• Must be a forward thinker, with a vision of how to extract opportunities from ambiguous business problems.
• Must understand product and agile delivery and be comfortable working with minimal direction
• Effectively manage and complete multiple, concurrent assignments to meet deadlines
• Must possess the ability to translate knowledge obtained into appropriate action
• Must be able to effectively manage and execute tasks with multiple conflicting priorities

Preferred Qualifications;

• Experience with SAP data structure (especially within PM and equipment level)
• Expert knowledge in Microsoft suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Power BI
