The client is seeking a Document Control Analyst (Senior) for a long-term contract located in Calgary, AB.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and supports Document Contacts, Document Owner Managers, Stakeholders and Business Approvers involved in the document change process for controlled documents.
- Applies or ensures the correct usage of document templates and formatting.
- Checks for completeness of change evaluation, and accuracy of document metadata.
- Sustain communication with stakeholders in the system?to manage the flow of document management of change tasks.
- Initiates changes to document ownership and reassignment of workflow tasks in the Document Library due to organizational changes
- Monitoring inbox and handling, distributing and completing incoming communications and inquiries.
- Ensures all Implementation tasks are completed prior to publishing.
- Assists in identifying document dependencies and ensures dependencies are revised accordingly.
- Acts as the point of contact for interaction and follow-up on issues raised by reviewer(s), approver(s) and/or Information Management.
- Ensures timely preparation and notification for master data changes.
- Indexing and archiving hardcopy and electronic records into the organization’s records repositories in accordance with procedures, standards and retention requirements.
- Coordinate document language translations with service provider.
- Ability to set priorities and multi-task in performing day-to-day tasks.
- Highly adaptable, willingness to learn, a self-starter
- Ability to follow established process and procedures
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Demonstrate practical skills in being very well organized and diligent.?
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with OpenText (navigation, advanced searches, collections)
- Preference given to applicants fluent in speaking/reading/writing in French
- Previous experience as a Document Controller is an asset
