On behalf of the Horticulture Organisation, we are delighted to be on the lookout for a Maintenance Leading Hand / Supervisor to join their team for North/West of Melbourne.
This role would be best suited to a Maintenance Leading Hand / Supervisor with some experience in maintenance of storm water treatment systems, bushland reserves, parks, and public open space reserves. Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator.

Requirements:
- Qualified with Certificate in Horticulture or equivalent experience in a Maintenance Supervision role.
- Strong practical knowledge of commercial landscape, ecological restoration, and broad scale offset management techniques.
- Experience in maintenance of storm water treatment systems, bushland reserves, parks and public open space reserves is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision of our maintenance teams to deliver well-maintained natural resource sites in accordance with contract obligations.
- Uphold a high standard of Safety across all our sites, ensure all HSEQ documentation is required in accordance with our ISO accredited HSEQ systems.
- Lead and mentor our maintenance teams, imparting horticulture knowledge and techniques to help develop our people.
- Manage procurement processes, monitor programs for handover, and coordinate regular maintenance on equipment.
