- Provide Flow Assurance subject matter expertise in Studies, FEED, Detailed Design /EPC phases of the Compression project. Leads and stewards the flow assurance engineering discipline activities for the assigned project.
- Ensures that project technical requirements (e.g. basis of design, simulations, reports, studies, etc.) developed during FEED fully comply with project requirements. Stewards the interfaces between the PMT and the EPC contractor's organization with respect to Flow Assurance engineering to ensure quality and minimize change orders and custodian of the flow assurance models.
- Provides Flow Assurance Engineering direction, guidance and leadership to NFPS Compression project EPC(s) PMT and CONTRACTOR(s) for fieldwork within the assigned area. Develop fit-for-purpose process /technical engineering definition of surface facilities.
- Effectively collaborates and interfaces with Project team, Contractor, Qatargas stakeholders (Operations, OES, E&P and etc) as required to ensure that the Topsides and facilities scope of supply is fully integrated and optimized.
- Provides oversight of the EPC Contractor’s team and timely review and approval of project deliverables within project budget and schedule.
- Technical evaluations of multiple EPC tenders for large, capital projects, including risk based evaluation of complex technical issues, which may have a significant commercial impact on project execution, ensuring they are compliant, technically qualified, and consistent with project requirements.
- Broad and extensive knowledge of:
- Multiphase / Single Pipeline Flow assurance engineering activities
- Upstream Oil & Gas Process engineering design
- Offshore facilities design, construction, and operations
- Oil and gas offshore projects engineering
- Design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years oil and gas work experience of which a minimum of ten (10 years) of flow assurance and process engineering experience and 5 years in the similar position.
- International project experience with Tier-1 EPC Contractors or Client, involved in the projects executing large offshore platforms (i.e. greenfield and brownfield work), pipelines and onshore.
- Sound knowledge of the project execution process in large-scale project environments (expenditure >US$ 1 Bn).
