Planner / Aberdeen

The client is currently recruiting for the position of Planner, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for executing project planning tasks in one or more areas of a project, assisting in preparation of tenders as required, development of bid plans and execution plans/schedules for FPSO new builds, conversion projects and modification projects
* Develop Project schedules for assigned project area, covering all phases of Projects from concept development, tender, bids, FEEDs, construction, commissioning, execution, modification to completion, and contribute to overall project plan
o Monitor and update project progress
o Organize and prepare project progress reports, and support the project manager in monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting performance
o Prepare mitigation/recovery schedules
o Actively contribute to forecasting and rescheduling of project plans and schedules, including formal baseline revisions
o Carry out Schedule Risk Analyses using Primavera Risk Analyzer
* Work closely with and actively support all other project teams
* Cooperate closely with Document Control and interface to ProArc Planning module
* Liaise with department heads for planning of maintenance activities
* Participate in development of standard execution schedule for FPSO new builds, conversion projects and modification projects
* Participate in analysis and benchmarking to optimize plans and schedules
* Contribute to development and maintenance of historical data and best practices of engineering/construction norms for use in future bid proposals and future benchmarking initiatives

Experience & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering
* Relevant Experience of engineering/construction within the offshore industry, including
* Project Controls with specific focus on Planning
* Previous FPSO experience will be greatly valued
* International and multi-cultural experience will be preferred
* Previous experience in planning software packages, in particular Primavera
