We are looking for a Subcontracts Manager to join our team based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
You’ll be reporting to the MEET Director of Subcontracts and Procurement (and / or his designee), and may be assigned to projects as necessary This position requires extensive experience in managing Project contracts and understanding of contract terms, intent and application.
Reporting is a key requirement of the role to ensure accurate forecasting of contract deliverables and be responsible for proactively managing their own workload.
Key tasks and responsibilities – what you’ll be doing
Importance

Key tasks and responsibilities – what you’ll be doing
- EPC Contract management is critical for this role and understanding of end-to-end contract placement to close out.
- Core skills in contract management, administration and claims resolution.
- Strengths in drafting contracts and legal understanding of contract risk and the key clauses for contract execution and successful delivery of projects
- Integrates cost forecasting and planning for subcontracts management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Excellent negotiation and contract resolution skills.
- Strong influencing, communication, and facilitative skills, including cross cultures and geographies,
- Ability to bring teams together to achieve targets and goals with clarity on action planning
- Ability to work cross functionally within Client
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical and non-technical information, internally and externally.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of macro-economic factors
- Financial and Business acumen
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knowledge and proficiency with the Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note) and collaborative tools.
- Good Knowledge of SAP and requisition to pay processes
Importance
- MRICS and / or MCIPS
- Bachelor of Engineering (preferably Mechanical / Civil) degree is advantageous.
- Master of Business Administration is advantageous.
- Extensive experience working in an EPC / Oil and Gas company.
- Experience in contracts and contractual language.
- Excellent oral and written English proficiency is a must. Second language is advantageous.
