Global Medical Affairs Project Manager
- Responsible for Global Medical Affairs content and message development and distribution; creating copy and other communications delivered through a variety of channels, to drive effective and consistent internal communications with the goal of fostering strong alignment, engagement and empowerment among Global/HQ, Area and Affiliate audiences and relevant stakeholders (i.e., R&D, Commercial, PPS, Regulatory, etc.).
- This role includes driving timely, transparent, and consistent messaging with the appropriate audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop GMA communications for programs, projects, leaders and/or functions based on specific stakeholder and audience needs, and from a multichannel perspective, including virtual meetings, intranet, newsletters, videos, as well as traditional email and live meetings.
- Develop and deliver content and messaging to effectively tell the GMA story based on the objectives, needs
- Provide creative writing talent. * Effectively provide project management support, including the tactical execution of multiple projects with demanding timelines for successful delivery ensuring clarity, consistency and effectiveness of messages and follow through.
- Work with Global/HQ, Area, Affiliate and US colleagues to counsel on clear, effective delivery of information, including new methods to reach target audiences.
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to provide project management and content development. Effectively interact with vendors to convey direction, changes, and schedules for development/delivery of communications.
- Develop and reinforce processes to facilitate consistent, clear and efficient dissemination of communications to audiences. Utilize appropriate processes related to approval of communications, including ensuring alignment with cross-functional partners and compliance with corporate communications, purchasing and material approval policies.
- Consistently evaluate employee engagement/alignment with communications vehicles and messages. Utilize metrics to track communications effectiveness and create metrics reports to present to multiple stakeholders internally.
- Provide new updates/improvements to GMA SharePoint homepage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or higher required in Communications, Journalism or Public Affairs highly preferred
- Knowledge of pharma, biotech, healthcare
- Experience with StaffBase desired
Communications specific:
- Experience developing and successfully delivering internal communications within a dynamic, global organization.
- Demonstrated writing ability for internal communications including technical/scientific audiences.
- Knowledge and experience in emerging communication trends and technologies.
- Knowledge and skills associated with creative and production suppliers.
- 5+ years ad agency or communications related work experience.
- Demonstrate organizational savvy and business acumen.
