Purpose:

The Treasurer will oversee all financial transactions going in and out of the company. The primary responsibilities consist of budget planning, financial reporting, record-keeping, and managing incoming and outgoing funds.

 

Responsibilities:

• Cash Management
  • Responsible for complex and high-risk cash forecasting
  • Responsible for excess in transactions monthly and cash on hand
  • Daily cash reconciliation and monthly bank reconciliations
• Debt and Financing Activities
  • Obtaining debt and financing arrangements
• Accounts Payable
  • Responsible for timely and accuracy of payments manually
• Accounts Receivable
  • Accountable for cash application process
  • Monitoring timeliness of payments and driving collection process
• Taxes
  • Accountable for tax returns, information reporting, tax payments and audits
• Credit
  • Customer and vendor credit management

 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting required
• 5-10 years of experience in treasury operations
• Strong analytical skills, including modeling practices
• Familiarity with banking platforms, payment formats, cash flows and forecasts
• Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
• Ability to collaborate with a range of business partners to develop and achieve shared objectives
