They are looking to hire a Completion/Production Engineer which will report to the VP Technical and be based in London.
The Role
- Provide advanced level expertise for completions, workover, rigless interventions, stimulation and well testing activity by planning, developing detailed designs/proposals and reviewing procedures
- Manage all completion related service companies to deliver the planned completion designs.
- Design sand control applications (e.g. gravel packing, frac packing)
- Model, monitor and optimise well completion performance
- Optimise completion designs to improve production and power consumption efficiency
- Provide technical and operational support to drilling, production and reservoir engineers
- Oversee completion and workover/intervention operations such as water shut-off, coiled tubing, e-line.
Qualifications
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 10 years oil & gas experience working in multi-disciplinary teams on producing assets with solid reservoir engineering/geosciences background.
- Experience and strong technical knowledge of Completions and Workover equipment, materials and services.
- Experience in Drilling & Completions contract strategies, contract tendering, contract award, post award contract administration and contract negotiations for large Drilling & Completions programs
- Experience in ESP/PCP completions, smart completions (e.g. AICD)
- Good presentation/reporting, communication and project management skills.
- Frequent Travel to West Africa
