Project Title: Human snRNAseq Brain Data Analysis
Project Objective:
- Access to large snRNAseq data sets of the human brain for Alzheimer's Disease and other diseases.
- Up to now the internal computational analysis was focused on selected cell-types. The contractor will assist with expanding the analysis to other cell types and additional data integration will contribute to realize the full potential of this data set and impact future target identification.
The objective of this project is three-fold:
- Expand the analysis to other cell types.
- Support additional analysis and integration within and across data sets and cell types.
- Accelerate the preparation for publications by creating visualization, tables, and data for upload to repositories and long-term storage.
Main deliverables:
- Work closely with an internal Computational Biologist to process, analyze and integrate large human snRNAseq data sets and perform follow-up analysis.
- Support of preparation of publication, i.e., by creating create visualizations, tables.
- Support formatting data and results for publication and long-term storage.
Top skills/requirements:
- Good knowledge of R and/or python programming
- Experience with data analysis, data handling and processing of sc/snRNAseq data analysis
- Basic understanding of OMICS data
- Proven to work independently
Years of experience, education, and/or certification:
- Bachelor, with 2 year of hands-on experience
- Master, with hands-on experience (might be master thesis or project work)
- Bachelor/Master in Bioinformatics or Computational Biology preferred
- Hands- on experience with interactive visualizations and tool development in R shiny
