The client is a leading offshore wind developer and first-mover in emerging offshore wind markets. It specializes in providing project development and construction management services to offshore wind projects for another international company, a leading renewable infrastructure investment fund with EUR ~16bn under management. Their development activities are growing rapidly with projects in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.

We are looking for a senior PMO profile on their behalf, with extensive knowledge from the offshore wind industry and a strong skillset within Project Planning, CAPEX budgeting, Risk and Interface Management. This role will take the lead and responsibility for all consenting activities on their projects in Italy. As their new Senior PMO, you will become an integral part of the company and have key responsibility for the PMO function.

Areas of responsibility
Your primary task will be to lead the PMO services in the project. Examples of your tasks will be to:

• Establish and maintain detailed project plans (in Primavera) and carry out progress updates of activities and resources demands
• Responsible for multiple projects early stage in ITA
• Communicate and report progress, performance and forecasts
• Ensure alignment and coordination of milestones and project package and contractor schedules
• Facilitate scenario analysis and support Package Managers in concept selection and decision making
• Drive and optimize consistent risk and interface management in the project
• Structure, compile and maintain DEVEX and CAPEX budgets and assumptions for business case analysis
• Facilitate benchmarking and optimization of the project processes and activities

Your profile

Your Experience
They expect that you have:
• Outstanding results achieved from previous experience within the area of project management, a PMO function, project planning or equivalent.
• Offshore Wind experience preferred

Your qualifications include:
• A master’s degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Structured and analytical approach to your work with an eye for details
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present and communicate complex matters
• Project management training (preferable PMP)
• Effective computer skills incl. Primavera, Power Point and Excel
