We are working with an exciting Green Energy business who are on the lookout for a Package Manager (BOP & IPL Interface). This will be to oversee and deliver a Greenfield Hydrogen/Ammonia project in Brisbane, Queensland, it is an office-based opening to drive the project through the early design stages and into project execution.
Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, the Package Delivery Manager has ultimate accountability for delivery of the package assigned, ensuring the work undertaken by the contractor or vendor meets the project expectations on safety, quality, technical compliance, cost, and schedule.
Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for the development of project readiness and execution planning deliverables in preparation for phase gates, FID, construction, and commissioning.

Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for the development of project readiness and execution planning deliverables in preparation for phase gates, FID, construction, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contractor and vendor package management during feasibility, detailed design, execution, commissioning, and start-up phases.
- When required, ensure the change control process is followed, and estimate the cost and schedule impact of the change.
- Collaboration with the Contracts and Procurement team to provide budget allocations for packages of work and assess potential change orders and variations.
- Analyze monthly package cost reports, assessing the approved budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasts, paid to date and amounts outstanding.
- Participate in contract tender evaluations.
- Manage interfaces between Vendors, Contractors and third parties to achieve an agreeable outcome.
- Contribute to building a frugal cost-conscious attitude throughout the project team.
Required Experience:
- 10+ years’ experience in project engineering, package and/or project management
- Experience working on projects from feasibility through to delivery.
- Intermediate skills in the management of a multi-discipline green field project.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively.
- Strong analytical, literacy and numerical skills.
- Good understanding of planning, scheduling, and project controls.
- Strong understanding of project reporting regimes and inputs to weekly and monthly reports.
Must Have:
- Valid rights to work in Australia
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
