The client is currently recruiting for the position of Marine Integrity Engineer, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities:
* Liaise with Asset planners, offshore teams, inspection/repair contractors and construction team to schedule offshore inspection and repair of hull structure and marine systems
* Develop and maintain hull, turret and marine integrity inspection plans (schedules)
* Maintain Hull Integrity work orders in SAP
* Review inspection findings and associated data management (handling by third parties)
* With assistance and appropriate input from specialist contractor(s), develop hull structure, turret and marine systems inspection work packs/workbooks
* Review of inspection work packs/workbooks and provide feedback as required.
* Review inspection records, anomaly database and develop follow up work as required.
* Annual offshore visits to company's operated floating assets.
* Delivery of business and technical reports as required.
* Liaise with and assist the Company Marine Engineer and Naval Architect as required on other Integrity or Maintenance scopes pertaining to Marine Systems.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Relevant experience of post-graduate in similar Integrity role
* Minimum 2:1 B.Sc/B. Eng in Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering or relevant discipline
* Good organisational skills with focus on delivering assigned work in a timely and efficient manner.
* Proactive approach and taking on accountability and responsibility of assigned tasks
* Ability to multitask and set priorities in a dynamic environment
* Willingness to work under the direction of the Marine Team Engineers as required
* Report writing skills
* Working knowledge of MS Office suit of software
* Technology savvy and ability to learn new software such as MS Project, SAP and CAD
* Ability to travel offshore (training will be provided)
