We have an exciting opportunity to join our clients power consulting team. This role will allow you to work under supervision and delivers small consulting assignments as per the agreed timeline and standards.
Your responsibilities
- Works on consulting assignments using established standards, methods and technologies to develop solutions and resolve issues. Generates consulting deliverables (e.g. reports). Assist consultants in assignments.
- Clarifies customer enquiry on technical issues. Analyses and works on customer’s feedback.
- Supports colleagues in both, creating proposals as well as sales material.
- Supports contract management activities in one’s area of responsibility
- Follows work plans and cost estimates in one’s area of responsibility.
- Ensures quality and timely implementation within targeted cost.
- Supports risk assessments and implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility.
- Documents and handles technical risks by following mitigation guidelines.
- Uses standard processes and tools applicable to one’s area of responsibility.
- Ensures that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements. Reports inefficiencies in processes and tools.
Your background
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical power systems or similar, is required.
- 0-2 years experience in the design, understanding and performance of power systems studies.
- Experience and knowledge of the electric power industry, market, systems and equipments.
- Knowledge in power systems analysis, as well as experience in software simulation tools such as PSS/E (power systems), DIgSILENT Power Factory, PSCAD, ETAP and/or MATLAB.
- Fluent in English and any other European languages is added advantage.
