Contract: Civil / Structural Engineer / Northern Territory

A leading mining company are seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer to join their Capital Projects team.

Being an integral part of this team, your expertise will be required for existing plant infrastructure and new projects.

Some of your responsibilities in this role will be to:

• Provide civil and structural design for earthworks, steelwork, concrete, mechanical support structures and infrastructure
• Lead the structural integrity program for the plant, equipment, and infrastructure
• Co-ordinate and deliver technical support to all Operational areas
• Manage consultants using Structural design packages
• Support medium to long term capital planning and prioritisation

You will be required to have:

• Civil/Structural Engineering degree
• Experience working in remote locations
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Highly proficient in reporting
• A solid understanding of Engineering and Capital works in the Mining Industry.
• Full Australian Working Rights

After the 6 month term, there is the potential for extension or transitioning into a permanent position.
