Project Engineer- Asset Retirement / Facility Demolition
The client, a Tier 1 Global Energy Company has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer with experience in Asset Retirement / Facility Demolition to join the WAO Facilities Decommissioning Team on a 12 Month Contract. The successful candidate will report to the WAO Decommissioning Lead, this role is based in Perth with occasional site travel.
The Project Engineer who will support the early phase planning and strategy development for facility demolition of the $200MM facilities removal program.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop the facility flushing, isolation demolition strategy and program for the asset
•Work with WAO Operations to ensure alignment with overall asset EOFL strategy and timing
•Manage the development of work packs associated with demo, cleaning, and isolations (possibly managing a team from one of our engineering service providers or execution business partners)
•Develop the contracting strategy for facility demolition and taking this through contract award
•Plan and manage early (pre-EOFL) facility demolition/removal scopes on BWI
•Engage with key stakeholders to leverage the clients international decommissioning best practices and ensure Project Assurance of key deliverables to enable quality decision making
To be considered suitable, applicants must have:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
•Knowledge and experience in Onshore and/or Offshore decommissioning requirements
•Experience in contract tendering and award requirements
•Experience in managing 3rd Party Engineering teams developing project deliverables
Top 3 Must have skills:
1.Knowledge and experience in Onshore and/or Offshore facility decommissioning planning and execution
2.Experience in contract tendering and award requirements
3.Experience in managing 3rd Party Engineering teams developing project deliverables
