For the client a renewable energy company providing PV as a services solutions, being part of an international structure, we are currently recruiting for the position:

Procurement Specialist

Position overview: 

As a Supply Chain Management Specialist, you will be responsible for procurement of main equipment's and components of solar PV projects.
General responsibilities:

•Develop and monitor a company’s supply chain strategy.
•Analyze operational performance and resolve issues.
•Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations (e.g. shipping, delivery) meet quality and safety standards
•Manage the procurements of equipment's to solar PV projects:
    - Panels;
    - Inverters;
    - Structures and another relevant equipment's;
• Prepare and conducts tenders aligned with company specifications and procedures;
• Regular Alignment and interaction with central purchase department of EDP in Portugal;
• Prepare documentation and conduct of the process of framework agreement with subcontractors;
• Constant research and manage of relation with new partners ( Suppliers and Subcontractors);
• Manage the stock of equipment's;
• Responsible for an overall purchases and logistics;
• Create the company’s supply chain strategy;
• Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues ;
• Evaluate and report on KPIs ;
• Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly ;
• Maintain supply chain inventory and records;
• Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes;
• Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents);
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth;
• Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts);
• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards;
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals.

Ideal candidate should have:

• Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field;
• Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes ;
• Excel - Advance skills;
• SAP is nice to have;
• Analytical and project management skills;
• A strategic and analytical mind with creative problem - solving mindset
• Results oriented, organised and able to prioritise the objectives set;
•  Polish Native and English language fluent.
