Contract: Surface Logging Systems (Sample Catcher) / Muscat

Role Summary:-

Responsible to collect the formation cutting samples, mud samples & preservation of the same. Also responsible to review, analyse, describe the cuttings, determine lithology & %age of the different components in the samples. Packing of the samples (wet, dry, chemical) & handing over the same to customer. Helping the team for making the sensor calibrations, performing sample analysis for hydrocarbon identification.

 

 

Essential Responsibilities:-

Demonstrate proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of Surface Logging Systems applications at the well site.

Good aptitude.

Understanding about geology & mud logging.

Ability to work well and communicate well with others.

Qualifications Two year Technical Degree preferred.Industry experience and product line training required. (Baker Hughes Mudlogging experience preferred)

 

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:-

• Bachelor/Master degree in Geology/Geophysics, earth sciences.

• Preferred Language: English
• Years of relevant experience? 2-3
• Target Industry: Oil & Gas
• Mandatory experience/skills/tools: mud logging, sample catching.

Other Requirments:-

• Alternative Marketing Titles: Sample catcher/mud logger.
• Rotation: 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off
• Working Hours Per Day: 12 hrs shift in field.
• Working Days Per Week: 7. Field job.
• Contract Duration: 6 Month
• Number of positions needs to be filled: 2
