Job title: HSE Lead

The HSE Lead supports local Management in establishing and continuously improving the project HSE Management
systems and culture within the worksite and assists the Well Site Leader, Field Operations Superintendent, Client HSE
representatives, and supervises other Business Lines, and other contractors, in coordinating and implementing the
QHSE Management System and tools as per the Project Bridging Document ensuring full compliance to company's and Client
Standards.

Based in Barmer, He/She will report directly to the Barmer Location Manager and functionally to the Operations
Superintendent.

Profile
? Minimum 15+ years experiences in a HSE role in Oilfield Onshore and/or Offshore sites
? Excellent knowledge and relevant experiences in Rig and/or Rigless operations (Drilling, Fracturing, Coiled
Tubing, Well Testing, Wireline)
? Certified NEBOSH
? BTech/MTech in HSE will be considered as an advantage
? Relevant Industry Recognized HSE Trainings/Certifications
? Good knowledge on MS Office and other HSE related digital software
Responsibilities
? Prepare and enforce the Project Bridging Document between all project key stakeholders
? Prepare and enforce the project related HSE Governance documentation (Bridging document, EMP, HSE
Plan, Training Plan, Risk Register,
? Support and enforce implementation of the SLB and client HSE Management Systems and standards
? Ensure that Companies policies are understood, adhere to and applied by all employees and contractors.
? Show visible commitment and be seen as leader towards QHSE at all times and implement new initiative to
help increase the safety culture.
? Conduct and follow up periodic audits and inspections plans to ensure continuous improvement during the
execution of the project as the Annual Audit Plan
? Initiate and Lead SIMOPS related workshop with all key stakeholders involved in the project to ensure
SIMOPS are properly managed
? Implement and enforce the Stop Work Authority across the project and all key stakeholders involved
? Develop HSE Digital tools to help improve the Project HSE Processes
? Responsible for all HSE leadership programs implementations
? Identify and Measure critical behaviors during critical project activities
? Organize and measure the ERP effectiveness trough regular drills as per schedule. Follow up on required
training and improvement actions ensuring closure. Ensure ERP is strictly followed for any HSE incident.
Prepare and Conduct Medical ERP assessments.
? Review Business Lines and Contractors critical equipment registers and Conduct formal inspections of
Business Lines and Contractors equipment installations on site
? Support and enforce PTW and LOTO system compliance.
? Develop Tool Box Talks / Safety meetings, etc strategy and yearly plan.
? Provide support in creating and reviewing risk analysis such as Project risk register, JSAs, HAZOP and
HARC’s.
? Develop relevant HSE training plan/matrix for operations and Conduct applicable trainings of personnel.
Review certification records and project training matrix, and verify HSE training compliance of contractors
according to their job related.
? Prepare a Project Mechanical Lifting and DROPS procedures and Ensure compliance with the company's
Mechanical Lifting and DROPS Standards.
? Develop and Conduct project HSE induction and site orientation meetings for newcomers, permanent crews
and visitors
? Liaise with the onsite Medical staff and ensure medical drills and evacuation are regularly conducted in
coordination with approved hospitals.
? Provide support with health/hygiene inspections of medical supplies, clinic, camp and catering facilities.
? Follow up on the implementation of the DROPS inspection requirements as dictated by the DROPS survey.
Monitor and track progress / closure.
? Actively support any positive-reinforcement behavior-based programs to reward and recognize members of
the project team from all levels, including subcontractors.
? Lead weekly HSE Meetings with rig crew, company's Business Lines and other contractors. Communicate and
ensure an understanding / implementation of relevant HSE Alerts.
? Ensure that regular and sufficient meetings are held to maintain focus on HSE issues.
? Ensures HSE events reporting is following and is compliant with the company's HSE Event Reporting Standard
requirements and Client requirements.
? Monitors and analyses HSE leading and lagging indicators, results, trends and performance indicators;
ensuring remedial work plans address negative trends.
? Closely monitors the implementation and monitoring of the project Company's Worksite Environmental Plan (WEP)
and that spill prevention & control, waste minimization & management plans are in effect and monitored.
? Conduct site entry and exit environmental assessments
? Provide support to SET (company's Engagement Teams) Leaders
? Input monthly reports data accurately and in a timely manner.
? Prepare periodic Project HSE Performance review.
? Maintain appropriate HSE and associated records.
