Contract: Contract Manager / Ho Chi Minh City

We are on the look for a talented Commercial Contracts Manager to join wind power plant projects in the South of Vietnam. This position will work for the Owner of the projects in Ho Chi Minh office, and occasionally travel on site.
Duration: 6-12 months
Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, and monitor the techno-commercial contract on behalf of the Owner
• Safeguard Owner interest by tracking Owner’s responsibilities under the construction contract, and identifying all risks that the Owner might be exposed when other contractors are not fulfilling their obligations
• Ensure OE and EPC contractors requirements and scope of work are executed as agreed
• Advise and represent Owner in contract negotiation, claims or variations, conflict resolution regarding the EPC contract
• Report to Project Director (PD) and coordinate with E&S officer, legal counsel, and Site Manager (SM)

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in either: Law, Commerce, Business Management, Engineering or related disciplines. Postgraduate qualifications in contract management or law are considered a plus
• 3+ years’ experience working as a contract manager/administrator on an EPC Contract
• Strong understanding of legal and contractual risks to the business and able to provide solution
• Experience in administration, tender management, claims negotiation, conflict resolution with proven track records
• Autonomous, proactive, capability of taking initiatives, detail oriented professional
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English / Vietnamese
