The oil and gas client requires a Pipelines Engineer on a long-term contract. This role is onshore based in Northop but occasional offshore trips may be required.

Key requirements

Mechanical engineer with extensive experience supporting and managing pipelines at an operation level on mature assets (on and Offshore pipelines)
Technical Authority . System custodian experience
Experience in intelligent pigging campaigns form FEED through to field execution and support
Experience in pipeline cleaning and commissioning from FEED through to field execution and support
Interpreting and analyst intelligent pipping results and apply to ongoing pipeline maintenance strategies
Able to support other aspects of the wider integrity tem and able to peer review work by topside and structural engineers and support the wider teams works as needed
Able to balance risks and operational requirements to manage risks ALARP
Able to explain and demonstrate complex technical issues to non specialist and non engineering managers in an understandable and informative way
Role is to work with existing Pipeline SC/TA to manage extensive pigging and cleaning campaign for decommissioning and CCS Hynet project
