Accounts Payable Clerk

Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, coding and recording accounts payable data
Review correctness and completeness of submitted documents for AP and Expenses
Request approval for vendor invoices and employees expense reports
Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures for AP, Expense Reports and Cash Disbursements
Process and maintain purchase orders to match with vendor bills
Accounts Payable ledger and benefits reconciliation; Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
Review completeness of timesheet and time clock prior to posting
Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
Understand expense accounts and cost centers
Other duties or tasks assigned by the Controller
